If you have mis-typed the server URL, it's possible to get in a state where Connector will not be able to log in, but also not provide a way to fix the URL. This will make Connector unusable - a frustrating situation. To fix this, you need to remove the local storage for CC extensions at:

/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Caches/CSXS/cep_cache/


Windows

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Temp\cep_cache\


The specific folders to delete are (IDSN_13.1 is for CC 2018; other versions will use different numbers):
